Born on the 11th of May 1990 in the Black Forest region, I grew up in a big family in a small village with great pride for its wine and people. From an early age, I was convinced that we can only change our perspectives and grow beyond our limited viewpoints if we dare to travel and immerse in other cultures. I studied educational science with a focus on intercultural learning and started to develop more and more international projects in the field of youth empowerment and sustainable development. Long story short, during the international exchange programme (ASA) with the AC-CT Partnership in 2014, I got happily trapped in Cape Town. I am now married to Michael whom I met during my ASA-project and can continue my passion for non-profit work in Cape Town being involved at the organisation Amava Oluntu.
